The Mennonite denomination is an Anabaptist Christian faith group. Our beliefs and practices can vary, but in general, our core values are to follow the teachings of Jesus in our daily lives, focus on peacebuilding and to believe in the centrality and inspiration of the Bible. Anabaptist means re-baptized and we practice believer's baptism once someone reaches the age of accountability.
We are a diverse group - some of us grew up Mennonite and others joined as adults. Some of us grew up in Plain City, while others transplanted from other areas. Our worship styles reflect our differences. We seek to find a blend of traditional hymns and praise and worship songs, as we recognize the modern trend while continuing to respect our heritage.
